I've only seen a handful of Studebakers in my life. Recently, I had the pleasure of seeing a purple 1958 Studebaker Golden Hawk. Unfortunately, being at a public car show, getting the framing right with a nice background proved to be nearly impossible. I did snap this picture of its grill ornament, though, and finally settled on some processing I felt complimented its age.
This was taken somewhere between Max Patch near Hot Springs, NC, and Hartford, TN. Don't know where. I literally stuck my hands out the top of my car, carefully lined up the shot using the A7R's adjustable display, and took the picture. Luckily, nobody was in front of or behind us, because I did this numerous times.
I captured this at the historic Oconee Station along South Carolina's scenic Route 11. This was captured on an Infrared Canon 20D.
