Gardens of Sunlight

My grandmother loves sunflowers. I remember when I was a kid, and she had this one taller than I was. Whenever we would visit her, I'd go out and ask if I could pick the seeds yet. At the time, it seemed like it was ten feet tall, though it was probably more around 4-6 feet. It's hard to say, with the persistence of memory. I can say it was nearly a foot to a foot in a half in diameter, though, not counting petals! I actually found these specimens on the side of the highway.
