Brown-headed Nuthatch 01

Capturing birds and all of the details in their feathers is always somewhat of a challenge with my equipment. I don't have what a person could call "high-end" lenses or cameras. I've got a really nice Rebel T5i and a decent 75-300mm lens. That's why when I capture an image with little-to-no fringing and crystal-clear details, I'm super excited. I feel like all too many of my bird photos are just not-quite-clear-enough to satisfy my exacting standards. I also love shooting at the Praire Ridge Ecostation off of Reedy Creek Road. There are bird feeders there, and all the cute song birds come out to play. I'd really like to photograph some birds of prey but they're almost always too high up in the sky for me to capture with my gear.
