This was a capture from one of this year's ice storms. The water was flowing beautifully over the rocks. I did have the misfortune of falling on the ice once, because it was invisible.
With the right exposure lengths, even the rush and pull of high tide can become a calm flow, appearing to pass serenely over a collection of rocks at the shore. This was a two second exposure, taken using a Canon 50mm lens locked down to f/22.
