In most cases, this little inlet would provide people a way to access the beach. However, the mornings at Folly Beach bring with them high tides that wash all the way onto the access ramp and stairs. I didn't have the footwear to take photos from within the water itself, but found a good vantage point nonetheless.
This is the famous Long White Bridge at Magnolia Plantation in Charleston, South Carolina. Despite it being winter, the trees and Spanish Moss were gorgeous. Spanish Moss is actually neither a moss nor is it from Spain. The rest of the property was equally gorgeous, with vast gardens spread throughout.
A short, white bridge on the Magnolia Plantation. This can be found along one of the trails bordering the marshes at the edge of the property. The views that one can find along this trail are simply exquisite. At the far corner of the property is a high wildlife viewing tower. With a proper zoom lens, one could take perfect shots of various birds as they live out their life amongst the reeds.
